Privacy policy
Room & Rule does not ask for your name, your email or an account, and the site itself sets no cookies. The calculator runs in your browser: the sizes you enter stay on your device unless you share a link, which carries them in the address. Effective September 24, 2026.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies, does not follow you across other sites, and only reports totals.
Affiliate links
Some links go to rug retailers through affiliate networks such as Impact and CJ. When you click one, the network and the retailer may set cookies on their own sites to credit a purchase to us. Those cookies fall under their privacy policies, not this one. More in the affiliate disclosure.
If you write to us, we use your email address only to reply. We do not add it to a mailing list or pass it to anyone.
Your choices
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. You can block cookies in your browser; the calculator and guides work the same without them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
